
Intern Project Objectives
This is a collaborative initiative that brings together all our divisions to work as one team, focused on the theme: Mental Health and Neurological Illnesses in College.
Our approach to this project will center around the pillars of our logo: ethos, logos, and pathos. Each intern will explore one of these elements to create a project centered about college mental health.

1. Ethos: Establishing Credibility and Trust
Projects that build credibility by using expert sources, facts, and ethical considerations.

Research-Based Presentations: Interns can present on a specific mental health issue, using data from credible sources (psychologists, mental health organizations) to educate others.

Interview Pieces: Conduct interviews with mental health professionals or faculty members to provide expert insight on mental health topics. (Student Support Team, CAPS, CPO, etc)
2. Pathos: Tapping into Emotions
Projects that evoke emotions, build empathy and emotional connections around mental health issues.

Analysis of Movie Depicting Mental Health
3. Logos: Appealing to Logic and Reason
Projects that focus on logic, reasoning, and facts.

Data-Driven Infographics or Presentations: Interns can create data-rich infographics or slideshows that show mental health statistics and the effectiveness of different treatments or coping mechanisms

Research-Based Essays or Blogs: Write logical articles that use statistics and case studies to argue for specific mental health initiatives, policies, or changes on campus.

Analysis Piece of Peer-Reviewed Article: Summarizing an article and digesting it into more comprehensible language (increasing medical literacy)
